The level of brightness of our smartphone is something that can change manually, or that can let you to manage automatically. Whatever it is, the important thing is to know all the options that we have, and one of them has to do with the management of the brightness. We can reach levels higher and lower if we activate the automatic brightness.
Automatic brightness
In general, when I speak of the automatic brightness, always recommend to disable it. I don’t like what takes the automatic brightness to change the brightness of the screen of my phone. I dislike the fact that the light sensor consumes battery either. Thus, the automatic brightness is not something that I particularly like. I always have it disabled, and soil to manage the brightness manually. More complicated is when I go out to the street and there is plenty of light and hardly reach the brightness indicator to increase the brightness of the screen. Whatever it is, not the automatic brightness I like.
However, the truth is that it is sometimes useful. Why? Because there are options only become that with the automatic brightness. For example, this has to do with the levels you can reach those automatic brightness, and not reachable where manual brightness. The level of brightness of the screen is measured in nits. When we have the automatic brightness I disable and we bring brightness to the minimum or maximum, we arrive at minimum and maximum figures which are determined in every smartphone.
However, these minimum and maximum figures are usually higher and lower when the automatic brightness is active. I.e., the level of display brightness may be lower or higher when the automatic brightness is active. Suppose that is night and that we went down the brightness to the minimum, but we want that the screen is still dark. It is ideal to put the brightness automatically, because the light sensor will see that there is little light, and can take the screen light level to a lower level. The same applies in the street when a lot of light.
So, although I do not recommend the automatic brightness, the truth is that it is sometimes useful and is good to use it.
